About Way Point Will

Background

An insatiable wanderlust drives me to see the world. So, I've taken advantage of every opportunity I could to see it. But there is so much more traveling to do .... places to see, adventures to be had, people to meet. Place names excite me, new experiences intoxicate me, and traveling nourishes my soul. I am a traveler and minimalist who prioritizes personal wellbeing.

Where have I been? What have I done?

Over 50 countries visited, over a million miles flown, and thousands of nights on the road. I've trained Northern India, climbed Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, done WWII wreck penetration dives in Truk Lagoon from a live-aboard, completed the 50 mile Salkantay trek in Peru ending at Machu Picchu, partied in an underground nightclub in Moscow, motorcycled all over Northern Thailand, mushed dogs in the Arctic circle in Inuvik Canada, got lost in Shanghai, sailed down the Nile river for a week, helicoptered to glaciers in Alaska, enjoyed monastery beer ice cream in Prague, visited Soufrier Volcano in St. Lucia, meditated in Cambodian temples, done a transpacific and a transatlantic cruise, and so much more!

Where next? What's on the list?

Soooo many places to still go and things to do. I want to roam the US in my pick-up truck, full-time, with no end date. I want to go to Poland and visit its Eastern boarding countries by train. I to go to Mongolia and hang out with the nomads. I've got Turkey on the list, for a few month stay. I need to go back to Africa and visit the southern countries. I want to drive to Alaska and explore its interior. Canada has some phenomenal Crown parks that I want to see. I want to return to Vietnam and spend a month meandering the northern part. I want to explore South America more, especially the far south. Camino de Santiago is on the list too. And so much more!
